I’ve always been fascinated by how nature works. After earning a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Science with a focus on rangeland ecology, I transitioned into IT to support my family. Twenty years later, following a divorce and a struggle with depression, I sold my company and returned to my true passion: ecology.

I pursued a certificate in soil regeneration and discovered the profound role microorganisms play in both soil health and human wellness. These tiny organisms, which support plants by providing nutrients and protection, also help heal and maintain our bodies. I believe our physical and spiritual well-being depends on nurturing a healthy microbiome.

During this journey, I found The Healing Promise of Qi by Roger Jahnke, which introduced me to Qi Gong. Roger explains Qi Gong as a form of neo-shamanism, where we become our own healers. This philosophy resonated deeply with my understanding of ecology, and my practice began to focus on awakening the healer within.

To deepen my practice, I completed two certification courses from the International Institute of Qi Gong and Tai Chi (IIQTC)—one as a Practice Leader in Qi Gong and another in Tai Chi. These certifications have enhanced my ability to guide others in their own healing journey.

This aligns with Dr. Herbert Benson’s discovery of the "Relaxation Response." While we are familiar with the "fight or flight" response and its impact on health, the relaxation response—our body's natural antidote—promotes healing by activating rest and digest functions. This state boosts immune function, improves digestion, reduces fatigue, and enhances sleep.

In my classes, we focus on moving from the sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight) to the parasympathetic (rest and digest), unlocking the full benefits of the relaxation response. No prior experience is needed—your body already knows how to heal. All it takes is practice and support.
